I'm a native of South and Central Florida.  I have always been creative and had a passion for Art, Design and Fashion.  In my early 20's, I moved to Asheville, North Carolina.  It was there that I discovered my love for decorative painting.  In 1997 I became certified by The City & Guild's of London England in decorative restoration.  The intensely accelerated program was focused on a well-rounded range of historical and classical decorative painting techniques.  I fell in love with architecture through my educational experiences.  I then decided to enrich my knowledge and skill set by working for Evergreen Painting Studios.  I was fortunate to work on distinguished historical projects such as Theaters, Cathedrals and several United States Capitals.  Working on the interior restoration of the Georgia State Capital brought me to Atlanta, where I was able to establish my decorative painting company, Art Effects Inc.  In Atlanta I have left my mark on high end residential Estate homes, commercial hotels, Hi-rises and the Georgia World Congress Center.  While I developed in the professional arena of decorative arts I simultaneously discovered my passion for creating fine art.  I realized that to make that transition I would need to establish relationships with mentors and modern masters that could help me establish my branding through my visions.  I wanted to get more perspective about understanding the relationship between traditional and modern techniques.  Over the next few years that's exactly what I did, always reaching forward and ready to learn, I continued to expand my skill sets.  I studied overseas with a very forward thinking Dutch painter whom was able to remove boundaries that gave me insight into my potential.  A few years later I started studying under an American Artist who is currently recognized on a national level.  I'm grateful for the collective effort of those whom influenced my artistic journey.    I will continue to reach forward into the future and grow in what The Good Lord has planned for me.
